Age regression.

Those of us on the AB side of AB/DL live for little time.

We strive to achieve the headspace closest to the age range of our persona - infant, toddler, little, middle.

For those of us whose primary kink or fetish is ABDL, the headspace is ‘little space’. When we successfully slip into it, we become our alter egos: infants, toddlers, or little boys and girls.

For some of us, a ‘caregiver’ role is assumed: daddy, mommy, big bro or big sis, or babysitter.

Others of us ‘switch’ it up, taking on a caregiving role with some, and a subby little role with others.

In the end, the objective is the same: regression back to some phase of childhood, through the wearing of diapers (or diapering others), the slurping of baby bottles (or bottle feeding others), and - if we’re lucky - lots of cuddles and tummy rubs.

Littlespace provides us a break from reality. When we truly achieve the ‘littlespace headspace’ were are able to temporarily shed our adult responsibilities, and feel the stress of our normal lives melt off of us.

And all of the ‘little gear’ and associated paraphernalia make those moments more real.

For some of us, the smell of baby powder takes us back, and we’re that much closer to achieving the headspace.

Wearing a diaper? Now the authenticity is ratcheting up.

Wetting the diaper? Deep in our subconscious, somewhere, wearing a wet diaper is transporting us back into ‘infancy.’

Drinking warm milk from a baby bottle? Same.

Being fed warm milk from a baby bottle, by someone who’s responsible for our care - by someone who loves us?

Watching cartoons, playing video games, or coloring with our friends?

On any given weekend you’re as likely to find a group of college-aged ageplayers together at a pajama party, coloring on the floor and drinking out of sippy cups, as you are to find them at a frat party or out at the club.

And whether we’re being baby in groups or simply help ageplayers achieve the ultimate headspace.

We make friendships based on this headspace.

We form relationships based on this headspace.

We attend conventions with 1,000+ people, all seeking the same thing: this headspace.

Sleeping in a crib… for some of us that brings back feelings of safety and security; for others, for reasons we likely can’t even explain, we find safety and security in feeling confined, trapped - the bars of the crib just add to that.

Being fed in a high chair has the same effect.

The furniture that our community has created goes a long, long way to taking us back. So-called ‘big baby furniture’ adds to the nostalgia factor for some of us… for others it makes all the difference in making our time in little space feel authentic.

Whether we’re creating the perfect little space, or just setting up the perfect scene, there’s so much we can do to help put our heading on course for that headspace.

We’ll take a look at some of the things that or community has to offer here, from big baby furniture to makeshift furniture, from the ‘Big Kid Bucket’ to homemade diapers, outfits, and more.

Our community can be ingenious when it comes to creating the perfect space for littlespace.

We construct cribs, playpens, high chairs, and other baby furniture in size XXL to make us feel extra, extra little.

And we source the perfect products in the vanilla marketplace - portable playpens, toddler rails, and more - that help accentuate ‘little time’ when a full nursery isn’t an option.

We’ll take a look at some of the most toddleriffic spaces our community has to offer here. Have a space you’d like to share? Email Cwis.

BIGKIDBUCKET.png

It’s the ultimate symbol of forced regression.

Toddlerization.

You walk in, and I hold out the bucket. Before you take another step, everything you came with is going to be contained within it, and the bucket itself stowed away, out of reach.

Sure hope you meant what you said about wanting to disconnect from your adult side and connect with your little side…
