For some, it offers a feeling of safety and protection.
For others, that feeling of confinement is the drive.
For many of us, peering through those bars takes us back to a previous period of our lives, a period we spend much of our time wishing we could return to, if only temporarily.
As far as regression goes, little can outdo the idea of being put down for a nap - and nothing makes it feel more authentic than being put down for a nap in an actual crib.
